Wound

Wounds are considered a condition, and normal rules concerning immunity or resistance to conditions apply. The following outline the effects of Wounds.

  • Wounds only affect organic creatures. Undead creatures that are not skeletal or retain flesh are considered organic for the purposes of Wounds.
  • Wounds stack on a creature. If a creature that already has a Wound is to be inflicted with a Wound, it ends up with two Wounds.
  • When a creature with Wounds is inflicted acid damage from any source, it receives 2 more damage for each Wound that it has.
  • Once a day, a creature with Wounds may make a Constitution saving throw against a DC of 15 + character level - 1 for every 10 max HP. On a success, that creature loses 1d6 Wounds. Half of that on a fail.

Notes

  • Greater Restoration and similar effects cannot remove Wounds.
