Nobility, or the conception of it by the Races of Man, is a foreign concept to the Tretallë. Although there do exist imaginary boundaries in Tretalleri society, many of them are entirely incorporeal. The line between the commoners, the Blood, the Azure Blood, and the Great Houses of the Dominion is purely genealogical. The earliest iterations of a codified Dominion Law foresaw the possible trouble of allowing a small portion of the population to accrue a large portion of the wealth of the entire Dominion and took steps to prevent such a thing from happening. Although those of the Blood and the upper echelons of Tretalleri society are still wealthier than the average citizen of the Dominion, they are not so wealthy as to be untouchable by the masses. In fact, with the way that the legislature of the Dominion is set up, each of these two groups serve as checks and balances for the other.
